M&M Themed 50th Bithday Party

So my mom turned 50 last year and guess who was the party planner…you guessed it, it was me!

The first step in planning any party or event is coming up with a theme, once you have that decided, then you can start on the fun stuff 🙂 The best way to pick a theme is to get to know the person, find out what they like or what their expectations are.

With my mom it was easy! Well, she was turning 50 and I knew she liked M&M’s (mainly peanut M&M’s but it was a lot easier to come up with a theme for just regular M&M’s). So that is what I went with, with a purple accent (her favorite color).

I knew I would need a banner, decorations, a table set up and a guestbook, so I went to town planning! Let me show you my fun end result with this party:
